Why I Built My Own Platform, Why TIDAL Got the Files First, and What Comes Next I always knew my rollout was going to look different. I’m not here to do things the way everybody else does them. I’m building a world a system where the music, the fashion, the visuals, and the technology all work together like one circuit. Every drop, every file, every announcement is part of a bigger network I’m creating around my art. That’s why I built the AntTheVillain app. That’s why I dropped The TIDAL Files Vol. 1 the way I did. And that’s why this rollout is more than a rollout it’s A infrastructure. WHY I DROP EXCLUSIVES ON MY OWN APP I wanted a space where my community could tap in without the algorithm deciding who sees what. A place where the real fans get updates directly from me, no noise, no filters, no middlemen. The command center. Everything ties back here. WHY TIDAL GOT THE FILES FIRST TIDAL has always been the platform that treats audio like art. They respect quality, they respect artists, and they give space for projects that feel personal. The TIDAL Files Vol. 1 isn’t just a playlist it’s a curated archive. It’s me letting people access the hard drive, the unreleased files, the moments that shaped the PHX/LA era. TIDAL was the perfect place for that. Clean. Cinematic. Premium energy. It was the first layer of the rollout now the deeper story continues here. OWNING MY DISTRIBUTION The game changed. The labels aren’t the gatekeepers anymore the artists are. I’m building in a way where every release, every piece of merch, every drop comes through my ecosystem.
